Christmas @ Peace

Celebrate Christmas with Us

When Jesus Christ came into our world, he did not come to be a helper or a teacher, a mentor or a preacher. He was born to be our Savior.

He descended into our brokenness to free us from hopelessness, guilt, and shame. He came to make us right again with God.

Be our guest this Christmas. Our worship will feature an inspiring message, favorite Christmas carols, and a place to worship the child born to save us.

A Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. - Luke 2:11

Why Peace?

Peace is a Christ-centered church that is devoted to "proclaiming the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all" (Acts 10:36). On the cross, Jesus suffered "the punishment that brought us peace...by his wounds we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). Risen from the dead Jesus says "Peace be with you!" (John 20:19) In the midst of an unpeaceful world, Jesus promises you: "My peace I give you. Not as the world gives you do I give to you" (John 14:27). We are eager to share this good news of peace through Jesus with you!

Peace is a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). You can visit the WELS web site for a more detailed statement of beliefs.
